Hi Does anyone have any info on the fishing here? Looks like good Brown & Sea Trout water is it? Anyone know how to arrange to fish it?

Am looking into this myself. I used to be a member at the streams up at chilham mill but that has now ceased since the river being sold. There stretch of river (se water) was owned upto the a2 bridge. I'm now thinking from the a2 upto the park near the habitat roundabout looks good. Trout definatly get up there/through there - not sure if they hang about though. Please contact me of you find out any info. Cheers baz

The stretch I'm thinking about is behind the wincheap industrial estate. There's a path just to the left of "staples" which leads to the river. I'm sure some club owns the river no doubt! Regards baz

30 or so years ago I was at college near Canterbury.My mate and I joined the Canterbury and District Angling Club and found some good stretches for the brown trout.But it was a long time ago but still worth enquiring.
