m after advice again,me and my mate wanna go fishing the river dougie Estuary over near hesketh bank (used to go there as kids) and we wanted as much advice as we can get, when we went years ago we just used a basic rig of a ledger a weight about a foot from the hook to stop the ledger going down to the hook and bate usually a worm, but im sure theres better ways.
We wanna know can we float fish this river and if so what kinda floats and what we can fish for (weve only ever caught snig and flatties from there) the best way to do it (and easiest cos we confuse very easily) the best time the best depth (where useless at plumbing) the best baits basically gimme gimme gimme all your info.
What kind of fish can we expect to catch there? a list would be good.
Heres a link for exactly where we are going if that helps and we was planning on going about an hour before high tide.
