Default Fishing tidal water

Hi im just looking for help for next year our local river is a small very slow flowing the first half mile or so is tidel its very very slow about fifteen to twenty wide on low water its five to six feet deep with pools of ten to fifteen feet this year i fished it a lot in june it was stuff with fish splashing all night but it was very very hard to meet one when the first flood came i went further up river and got very good fishing and in august i went back down one night and got eight of them and they were very stale i found it very strange i couldnt get them when they were fresh but got them later i no it was just luck i happened to go down the night they were taking but its why i couldnt get them when they were fresh thats buging me plese help

Hi,
Perhaps you would like to go my site at OF HILL AND LOCH and read the articles on tidal and sea pool fishing..once you understand the routine and habits you should be able to pick up a few extra fish...If you want any more info about tidal waters please just ask or contact me ..

That is how I have found tidal water and river fishing to be in my neck of the woods. Feast or Famine. I am going to guess that there are big differences between fishing in Florida and fishing in the UK, but I think that is a constant the world over.
