Default Advice for the Taff

I'm working in Cardiff next week and instead of spending every evening drinking Brains in the Traders want to get a few sea trout and possibly salmon sessions in.
Can anybody point me in the direction of any day ticket waters and maybe some advice on tactics and tackle?

Many Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Post this request on the Taff, Thread - under : UK and European Rivers!

Gary Evans Tackle Cardiff will point you in the right direction! Best fishing for Salmon and Sewin on the Taff would be a few miles north of Cardiff, around Taff Wells and Pontypridd areas Gary Evans or Cliff Harvey in Cilfynydd will supply you with day tickets! Most are about £10 a day? But please put a request on the Taff Thread! The FTAC club members, those that fish for Sewin - will guide you to the right place! Hope this helps in some way?

Mostyn

Hi Mostyn,
Have re-posted in suggested area of forum!
Thanks for the advice. First port of call was going to be Gary Evans.

Cheers

Andy
