Welcome to the crazy world of saltwater fly fishing. White and olive flies with silver or pearl seem to work for me alone the beach here in my part, if you go onto uksaltwaterflies.com there is a load of great materials there, my favourite being Dna, it's really great stuff, if you google in dna livebait sandeel there is instructions on how to tie the pattern and it is dead easy,
