A very well respected guide told me that in the spring bass will often push up to the upper limits of the harbours looking for bacon baguettesssszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......................

I weave my own bacon rasher pattern using pearsalls silk in chestnut and salmonberry....

Not sure if this can be used to make a "real fly" Chris will have to let us know but its very effective.

I sometimes add some foam to make it float.
