Hi all just thought I would share a few pictures and a small report from the recent trip that Paul Procter and myself hosted down in Ascension Bay. The pair of us have been taking groups down to Punta Allen for several years now and have had some awesome trips but this one probably has been the best at least for me as a Permit nut! We managed to get 30 permit for 2 weeks with the first week producing 7 and the second producing 23! with 13 coming on the last day of the trip along with a a double grand slam and a single grand slam to the same boat!

If you want to catch a Permit there is NO better place in the world to go.

I managed 1 the first week and 6 the second week including a couple over the 20lb mark.

We had some great Bonefish which are getting bigger each year, this trip saw plenty in the 4-8lb bracket which is great to see. Snook to 18lbs a few tarponand plenty of Barracuda also put in an appearance!

Looks great.
I was in Ascension Bay earlier this year and have to say it was fantastic.
We even hooked a Marlin, but unfortunate the leader was not enough...the guide was so excited, it was just one of those unfortunate events. At least we saw it jump and skit across the water a few times.

Really is a great place and I look forward to going back.
