Default Cuckmere Fly Fishing - 29th Oct - Bass-Mullet-Sea Trout

Done swff at Hayling Island and found it too easy? Then make life harder for yourself and join me for a trip to Cuckmere.

Any advice is gratefully received.

Hayling too easy.
How do you come to that conclusion?
Cheers

Just joking it's all hard but at Hayling Island I'm always confident of catching. Cuckmere is the unknown for most.

Good to meet you all today gents - and some good fishing had by all. That big'un has whet my appetite to get down to Cuckmere again soon!

I can't remember who got a photo of my whopper... I think it was Lloyd/Ed/Martin but if you could post it here that'd be great.

Look forward to meeting up again soon.

Nick

Yep a good day with that 5lb bass and three people catching their first ever bass on the fly.

A better than expected spot with bass, mackerel and gar on the fly.

sussexflyguy I have a photo of you with a bass. Please message me your email address. Thanks for the Sussex sea trout information.

Looks like I made the wrong choice to go hunting- opening meet, no scent!

Sounds like you guys had a great time, I have fished Cuckmere some time ago caught the odd schoolie from atop the high shingle using a surface popper fly.

Wont make the same mistake twice, will come along and meet up.
