lankylad is on a distinguished road
Default Torridge estuary - North Devon

Just come back from a weeks holiday in the area.
Whilst staying in Braunton I decided to fish Crow Point using conventional sea fishing gear.
When i arrived about 1 hr after low there was a large number of bass leaping out of the water all around me. Unfortunately using legering tactics I blanked, but it did look good for anyone trying a fly.

Very fast tide and lots of weed coming down.

Anyone fly fish this area?

Dave
