Sorry its a bit small. Now if it had been the Tibor Gulfstream then I might have been interested.

I've got a 4.5" Abel available, if you are serious.

Halfway between an original, narrow arbor 'big game' reel and a modern wide arbor 'Super' series reel.

Probably a collectors item now that I think about it.......

Having been through this particular line of research thoroughly myself recently, I have been recommended 3 brands which are top quality by people who have spent much of their life catching very strong sea fish such as Tuna, Tarpon and Dorado on fly tackle. They are all American designs, but much cheaper than the classic recommendations such as Abel and Tibor which remain excellent but extremely expensive for what they are, as you have no doubt noticed. So you can afford them new (well 2 of them anyway)

- Sea Level Tempest or Extreme (depending on size) A Californian company that bought the rights to the Albright reels and now manufacture them to a very high quality in Korea. Highly recommended by everyone.

- Redington Brakewater. No longer made but available second hand (I just bought one with a spare spool on eBay). Beautifully machined (again in Korea) with an excellent drag and reputation for longevity and reliability.

- Colton. An East coast company run by one man. The Torrent reels are developing a very good reputation for quality of drag and overall design. Not as time-tested as the other two yet.

How serious are you? I have a Tibor Riptide QC and spare spool (I don't believe I have even used the spare spool) in satin. Not looking to sell cheaply but would part with it if good price.
