Default Mackerel

Looking at having a go at Filey Brigg in the next few days, is anyone catching them in the area?

Stuart

Heard that Sandend is good for bass. Think I'll have a go anyway

UKSWFF is worth a look.

Anywhere with deeper water will yield mackerel, sometimes, in the evening they will be within 10 feet of the shore, running baitfish up the beach. If you see a blitz, fill your boots. A #6 is great fun for mackerel, shad and garfish.

A friend of mine was out in his kayak of the headland at Scarborough today. He had a few joeys on the fly...The sea is nice and flat you should do well...
