Can't say that I've fly fished in that area but there is certainly some good Bass marks there. In fact between Tenby and Manorbier are some lovely little coves worth a crack at.....careful on the rocks they can be quite steep and slippy.....I used to bait fish it a lot around there at one time and then the bass hot spots were around Caldy, sorry I don't know to a boat...........Incidently Bosherton Lakes at Stackpole (10 milesish) have some cracking pike fishing if fancy a change. They can be a bit weedy but I've had some great sport on the floating plug....I reckon the fly would equally as good if not better......all on a cheapo day ticket..............birdsnest

Anywhere from Pendine to Amroth should see you in with a chance of Bass and Flounder

fly fished it many a time.Best bass mark is monkstone point.can be seen from tenby harbour looking towards saundersfoot. When your at roundabout on main drag by new hedges turn left to little roundabout and straight opposite is a small lane taking you to treyvane campsite.park up on lane before farm and walk through farm down foot path along side camp site then take path straight down cliff.Point on the left hand side of beach. You can stay on it for the full tide.Just as good is if you go right and do a bit of wading around the corner youll find plenty of rocks at full you can stand on and fish over the rough ground.Get lots of bass there.
If your on TENBY Harbour before flood you can watch the bass and mullet come in on a few foot of water.to the right of harbour theres a path round to the old life boat shoot and big bass hang around there.South beach is also good for bass in the evenings and in the day flounder and turbot of the shore, its a long beach and top half is nearly always empty. On the big spring tides walking left from north beach [by harbour] along rocks is very good also.Be plenty of mack and gars as well.
Fishing south beach last year which is about a mile long and the whole length of the shore to 20 yrds out was black with white bait, never seen anything like it.I was fishing stood in the middle of it all watching bass and mack slamming into them.Even my fly in among the millions of fish, fishing just under them was getting hits.

Monkstone point are the rocks above the white boat.Old life boat slipway on right at low.
The black dot in the middle is me wading with fly.
