Hi All,

I'm trying to book a travel for me and my girfriend without the kids I have been searching for the destination for an all inclusive place that I can go fishing on my own early in the morning while my girlfriend is sleeping

First choice was Cuba but with all the ban and Avalon it's look like it's kind of hard to fish there? I don't mind taking a guide for 1/2 a day or 2 times 1/2 day but is there only Avalon there in Santa Maria?

I saw some old post saying the guy fish early the morning in front of Melia Las Dunas for Barrucada, I'm not sure if we can still do that?

Is there anywhere else I can look? Bahamas? Jamaica? Mexico?

the rumours about cuba are just that ie bol0x. i just got back and fished diy all over mate. early morning beach fishing for bones or baby tarpon up to 20lb in some of the lagunas should be no problem.

What hotel can you suggest me? My girlfriend wont be fishing so it could be nice if I can fish a couple of feet from her while she is on the beach

Cayo Coco.
Sol or Melia hotels.
all inclusive, on the beach.
Sol is nearer to rocky outcrops (200 yds along beach) good for bait or spin fishing, big ambers, and trevally, occasional tarpon, lots of cuda.
melia is closer to best flats in area (big bones, occasional snook)
ethier one you can laze on beach with rods set up watching for the passers buy!

Where did you stay and where did you fish?
I went to Cuba some years ago but was only fishing in Las Salinas near Bay of Pigs. The fishing was real good but not possible on a DIY basis.
