hi guys anyone been getting any mackerel on the fly round the fife (east neuk) area so far this year?

A bit further west I'm afriad, but have been trying for them when time allows off Burntisland, certainly been some fair sized shoals about but they haven't really come in range of the fly when I've been down. Though speaking to some of the regulars they've hit them 10-15 ft from the shore!

Bit of random catch had a garfish two weeks ago - managed to drop it back in before I got a photo - it was only about 10inches long though. They're were some larger fish cruising up and down the breakwater no idea what they were but one hit the fly when I was lifting off and gave the rod (9weight) a fair hoop...
