Default New world record for Bloke Fly Rods!!

I just heard that Chris Cook caught a 128lb Yellowfin Tuna when he was over in Christmas Island using one of my Bloke SLP 13/14wt fly rods....as there is a pending world record with IGFA of 113.5lbs Chris beats that comfortably....assuming that all the measurements and witnesses stand up he should have it nailed!
Here is the fish.....

A very well done to Chris and yourself, him catching it on one of your rods must be a fantastic feeling.Excuse my ignorance but is it a record for the species or one caught on a fly rod?

Mick, is there a fore-grip on that rod?

Lovely looking wrapping there.

A HUGE yellowfin by most standards but to do so on the FLY is simply superb!

Not many rods could withstand that sort of pressure so well done to Mick and a huge congrats to Chris.

No fore grip.....its an option with each rod but I dont like them...
Here is the butt wrap:

The new SLP (stands for Superior Lifting Power) rods were a design headache because I wanted a rod that felt like a FLY rod but had the power to be able to do this!!!
This is a test on the prototype blank at the factory.....loading 9 KILOS!!!!

Thus far there are only two in the range...a 9'9/10wt and a 9'13/14wt
