Default New to this game.

Hello there, I have been fly fishing the rivers in the Lothians for many years now and have suddenly found my self looking out over Cockenzie Harbour every morning. Now, I am not one to pick up a beach caster so i am now kitted out with a 10ft #8 and some rather bright fly tying materials. This however is as far as my knowledge stretches on the subject.

Is there anyone out there who has tried fly fishing round the coast in the Lothians? Also, can anyone direct me to web addy's on fly tying for this kind of fishing?

Thanks

Grant.

You should be able to find some VERY decent pollack only 30 minutes away, near Dunbar off the rocks.

Cockenzie - just round the corner are seatrout in the sea. Give me a ring (number on my website, kayak uk dot com).
