How far are you prepared to travel. A bit south of you is the mecca for SWFF of Yorkshire: pollack, bass, mackerel, flounders.....rocky points, sandy bays, boulder beaches.

Use your water reading skills for the river and apply them to the sea, it is the same.

Hi distance no problem down to Whitby area ?? is this wear you mean? Tom.

Ask in tackle shops the best places are known to the locals
ask were good beach casting spots are and go there.
