Look for a shoal of feeding Mullet to give yourself the best chance of success, obvious by the way they move across the surface of the water.
Present your flies immediately ahead of them and use a slow retreive. Flies which have worked for me include; Klinkhammers, black PT nymph, brown epoxy shrimpand Corophium imitations, all size 12. Bass can be a bit of a nuisance, taking the flies intended for Mullet.
I use Seagur, 11.5lb upwards, as the Mullet run to double figures.
Take some small sparse DNA Clousers to explore around rocks and break waters for Bass and Palometta.
