Siblyback reservoir, close to Looe - just out of Liskeard, so about 20 miles from Looe.
You staying east or west Looe?
For saltwater, try the rocks at Hannafore. Even now there should be some small pollack around.
Go over the bridge to west Looe and turn left, follow the coast roadround. It ends in a dead end. You will see the iron railings along the path next to the coast wall, there are steps down and there used to be free parking all along there.
If you go to the end, where the dead end is, there is a gate into the field, a stile to the left of it. Follow the cliff path and fish Talland Bay, or any of th erocks along there. Again, it is pollack territory this time of year. You might find a school bass off the rocks on the Looe beach (eastern shore, furthest from the banjo pier, where the sand meets the rocks, you can cast into the back of the waves there by getting out on the rocks.
You could try the shallow, weedy areas for a saltwater seatrout, it is getting a little late for them, but it was a cold winter, so you will still have a few around. First thing in the morning (before dawn), use a small deceiver type fly (something that resembles a herring fry - this kind f thing) or a prawn/shrimp imitation...about a size 1 - size 8
Have fun and a pint of HSD (Hicks Special Draught) for me!
