Default Fly fishing Ireland

Hi all,

Me and my friends wanted to go to Ireland in May for salmon fishing. Does anyone have any experience for fishing in Ireland in May? Any Rivers that you might recommend?

Thanks
Pall

Hi pallagust,
I would fish one of these rivers would give you the best chance of a fish in May.

Drowes-Fishing for 25 euro a day. The duff is only a couple of miles away also if there is water on it.

Moy-East Mayo Anglers have 6 miles of some of the best fly water on the River Moy think its 35 per day.

Also in the same area you have superb lough fishing for salmon on Lough Carrowmore which would give you the very real chance of catching a springer or two.
Other options might be the Owenduff and Finn
