Following on from Colins (cb) teasers re salmon rivers, here is one which (I think) will be harder to crack.
Is a small river I have never fished before. Was on Wednesday this week
Only clue is lower beat @ £7.50 per day!! (fly only)
And yes I did hook two, but both escaped before I got camera out!

Don’t recognise it at all but was going to guess Yorkshire Esk until I saw the high water -

Nope!
Water aint actually that high.
Although is first time I have been there, would suggest it is only up about a 9 inches to a foot, but is naturally dark!
