Default Salmon Catches

Fishpal has been a terrific help regarding beats available and catches. However, a further refinement would be really useful and that is catch per rod per day. As we know certain beats generate prodigous catches but are heavily rodded. I know it is easy to divide these catches by the number of rods and days in the month/season etc but if we were actually told how many rods were actuallly fishing on the beats per month then we could get a very accurate comparison. This would be especially useful in Summer when I suspect some beats exhibit fairly average catches but in reality not many rods were fishing over that period. Hence I am wondering if those who provide fishpal with catches could also at end of month state how many rods fished over that month?

And indeed how competent they were?
Not knocking your idea, but often beats are filled by one or two serious anglers, and the others are there for the craic. Sometimes the beats are filled by total experts!
I tend to look at the five year averages for the beats over the given period I wish to fish, irrespective of take up, it gives a far better understanding of my chances.
