Default Shooting line strength?

I'm looking to put together a shooting head for a 10/11 rod. I was looking at the Rio shooting line and it comes in three breaking strains 20lb, 25lb and 35lb.
Which should I use?

Thanks

Richard

35 lb. No brainer on a 10/11 rod.

thicker diameter will be easier to handle as well, they say its tangle free but i'm sure when you are having 'one of those days' it will tangle in anything it can find ...

Given that there is no real difference in the diameter of the three breaking strains of the shooting line, the original comment re the breaking strain of the leader is the way to go.
if using 20lbs leader make sure is 25 or 30 lb backing.
Reason being, you want the leader to break first! not the backing!

Meanwhile back on planet Earth ; Rio's specifications show their 0.035" line to be of significantly greater diameter than the lower breaking strain 0.025" dia shooting line. PowerFlex Core Shooting Line Fly Line | Rio

P.S. 'New for 2012': 0.040in Floating running line.

LOL,
ground control to planet earth, gonna tell me the difference between 0.25 (20lbs) and 0.35 (35 lbs) visually, and loading on reel capabillity, and indeed casting attributes, (apart from the b/s that is!) especially as the thinner (very marginally) line shoots further!
