Default Speyworks 3volution multi-tip salmon lines

Anyone fish with one or have any experience of one? As a newbie to salmon fishing the blurb sounds good and the fact that the line takes 16ft tips means it may be more effective early season on the Spey than my Rio AFS which has the 10ft versileaders. The head length of 33ft means it should be as user-friendly as the AFS too. Any opinions anyone?

For early season work a floating line with a 16' tip might not be the best solution.

With a sunk line it's not depth your after, it's speed. The further down you go the slower the river flows generally, so your sinking head swings slower. You can then use a tip and fly density for the depth. Even an s3/4 can be fished in shallow pools buy using a plastic tube or large double.

A guideline s1/2 and s2/3 would be a more effective set up for the spring I would think, even in relatively shallow pools.
