An important event took place on the evening of Thursday 16th June 2011. All guests and staff resident at the Atlantic Salmon Reserve in Russia received an unexpected invitation from Peter Power to join him for a party at Kharlovka House. Guests were told that he had something to tell them about "…the future of the ASR". Was this to be "the end" or "the beginning of a new dawn"?

Have to admit I held my breath after reading " The future of Russia's"...but I'm over the moon with the good news. Hopefully our Russian friend does an evenly good job as Peter did to preserve this salmon heaven on earth. After seeing the breathtaking DVD about the ASR and their Russian rivers that accompanied the "ATLANTIC SALMON MAGIC" book by Topher Browne, this place is on top of my "have to get there at least once in my life" list.
