Good afternoon,

After a s**t week in work I need to get out on a river somewhere. Last Sunday I fished the Tywi at Llangadog with no success... I was hoping for rain this week, but the rain dance didn't work!

So... where would you go (day ticket water) to gain reasonable chance of a salmon or sewin this weekend given the conditions?

I was thinking the Mardy or Abergavenny beat of the Usk or back down to fish the Cross Hands water on the Tywi or Cothi. I live between Monmouth and Abergavenny but I'm prepared to travel...but not as far as the Tyne!

I would fish the Tywi, but you will have to fish at night.
