Default Another from the bench.

Finally finished this one its been a long job.
Very slow this year after my father passed away so not many rods to show sorry.
But anyway the rod is a fast action flamed tiger stripe 8ft 5wt impregnated
With two mirror tip sections fitted with bamboo ferrules.
Nickle silver rosewood reel seat and Hopkins and Holloways snake rings with a vintage agate stripper guide..
Cheers for those who like bamboo

Very impressive gary, you just got to love the flamed stuff on Boo's..
I like the ferrules and allthough i can't see it i bet the agate looks nice too, what color is it?

Just goes to show that there are far more important things then rodbuilding.
I'm sorry to hear that you have lost your father, hope you are doing well.

Did you use Pearsall Gossamer silk for the transparant wraps?? You did a great job on them i especially like the black trims in there. The Agate is also stunning, i'm not a boo guy but i like the looks of them.

I noticed you used light wire guides on one tip and the normal thickness on the other, are the tips also different in action?

Well like i said before it all looks very classy.... Just how bamboo's should look like..
