I'll second that - David recently refurbished an old Norwich model for me and a lighter refurbishment on an Altmor. Perfect service and ridiculously good value. I'd strongly recommend anyone needing work done to speak to him.....

Yep, he is a very helpful chap, many years ago i asked him a question regarding the spine of a rod, he replied in a long hand written letter and it all made sense, genuine guy.
My fellow partner in crime who fishes with me on the Teign for Sea Trout uses a 9' 5wt made by David, he can't remember how old the rod is but it landed a 6lb 1oz Sea Trout recently, quickly followed by a 5lb 14oz fish, top quality rods.
