Default Recommend me a rod builder

I know this is not what this part of the forum is meant to be for however I bet there is more knowledge in this sectioin than anywhere else. I've got two blanks arriving which were meant to be my first and second rod build however life has conspired to leave me bugg** all time to do the builds so rather than leave the blanks gathering dust I thought I would get them built up and used.

I see rods as fishing tools, not objects of art and my build spec reflects this view. If you know of any rod builders that do a solid job at a decent price please let me know, they don't have to be full time pro rod builders, I have seen enough good work on here to know the "amateur" work can be very good. Thanks Paul

Hi Paul

I guess the rods are carbon, so some words of advice.
Whilst I would be the first to congratulate any guy on a nice job completed.
I would never recommend any work to be carried out by hobbyists or non professionals.
You would not trust your car with a guy who fixes perhaps one car in his lifetime.
I totally agree building a rod is not rocket science but you still want an experienced guy to do the work.
Contact Steve or David and get the job done correctly first time.
