Default Finished my rod

I have finally finished my 6 ft 2wt 4 pc rod. The problem was finding a rod tube small enough to fit it. The only option was to make one and a bag. I used a cardboard tube from Christmas paper and covered it in leather. I am very pleased with the outcome and it is stronger than it sounds. I will add some pictures as soon as I have finished uploading them.

I have to thank David Norwhich for the help and advice he gave me while building the rod.

Ian

I bought it from Angling Habitat. It is a F662-4 a Batson Rainbow 6ft 6inch 2wt 4pc. it cost me about £50 in total and I also made my own wrapping stand. I looked at the one on the Batson website and made it from scap bits of wood I had.

Thanks for the great responce
Ian

Nice finish on that wee rod Ian, you've put a great deal of work in to that, considering you spun the thread and made your own leather rod tube, I'm truly envious of your talent.
