I am thinking about having a 7ft 6in #4 cane rod made so i think i will have the choice of reel seat,rings etc i would like to put the best products on the market on it what would you suggest? thank you

Sometimes a nice touch is, depending on the maker, components such as seats, spacers, agate guides that are all made from scratch by the maker.
This gives it an extra "hand-built" feeling to it rather than use of (beautiful, but) off the shelf products.
The hand mades are usually much simpler, but to me much more preferable.
