Default Cane carp rod?

I really need a little help guys, please?

I'm after an 11' cane carp rod with a 1 3/4 t/c.

Auggers do one and so do Scottie, both around the same price. Do any of you know what one I should go for? I cannot find a review??

If you know of another firm under £350 it would be welcomed!

Thanks.

I should ask if Sharpes Scottie has gone bust, as they don't seem to have any contact details on-line now?

The old number is now a private house? Any help please?

Hi Richard.

The last time I spoke with John Weaver on the phone he told me they were almost finished producing cane rods and very kindly allowed me to produce the Sharps, Scottie range of rods. Which I am very pleased to do however I do not make any of the coarse fishing rods todate.
Mr Norman at agutters should be able to make you one Or you could buy a second hand one like the one on ebay. If you go down this root tread with care as there are more bad ones than good ones.

I wish you well with your new purchase which ever way to go.

Tight lines
Gary (nicho)
