Well I have finished making this rod at last.It has been a long journey for me,reading books searching the net, buying old planes of ebay and refurbishing them. Not to mention making planing forms, ovens, drying cabinets I could go on for EVER as any bamboo rod maker knows,I just think doing all that is like earning your Passage to the right to be called a Bamboo Rod Maker.I would mostly like to thank Gary (Nicho Bamboo Rods) For making life a lot easier for me,Cheers Gary. Well anyway when I can work out to post some pics I will let you have a look!

Thanks

Wayne

Great job Wayne she's a beauty you should be very proud of yourself, what size and weight is it? Have you had chance to give her a flick yet.Well worth all the effort you put in, and the knowledge you picked up on the way.Now you know how it's done, maybe the first of many. Excellent work Wayne(Rod Maker) ATB Steve.
