Default Wanting to build a "Made in the UK" rod

Ok so the idea is to build a rod where all the components have been sourced locally, not imports but actually components made in the UK. I have the blank side of things taken care of thanks to Harrison, I am now on the hunt for reel seats and handles as well as guides (I think the guides might be the trickiest part).

So if you make any of the following, reel seats and handles then please do get in touch.

I shall take a look at these. I like the idea of also source handles made from other materials. These are going to be fly fishing rods.

This is a dream - unless you use something truly weird and useless for the handle !

Nearest cork oaks - Portugal !
