Default Ok,Enough Pondering

Hi ,I have been giving this a lot of thought lately and have decided the time is right to try a rod build.I am contemplating a 9` 4# 4 section rod with an action not dissimillar to a sage rpl+.
If any of you kind gents could point me in the right direction regarding rod blanks, rings, reel seat etc i would be most grateful.
I would also welcome any help, criticism (good or bad) in the forth comming days ahead,as this is my first build i would especially welcome advice on epoxies and hints and tips for a newbie. When i have all the materials to hand i will endevour to post pics as my progress continues
thanks in advance
J

Google "Angler's Workshop" in Woodland, Washington (State). They're one of the leading suppliers of rod building (anything you could dream up) here in the US. I've been using their services since the early 1960's and they were established long before then.

Just to get your head around the process, The Mud Hole has videos and beginner information. http://www.mudhole.com/Rod-Building-101
Youtube has lots of videos and the rod building section of this forum has lots of good information and quality rod builders to help.
