Default Using Araldite 2020 for the first time

Hi Guys

I have just bought some Araldite 2020 which has arrived in small bottles which issue drops of Hardener and resin. Could someone give me a guide as to what proportions I should use by using drops from the bottles - e.g. 3 drops of resin to 1 drop of hardener ?

Thanks for any advice.

Three drops of resin to one of the hardener.
Don’t count the drops from the bottle you will end up with a very incorrect mix and it will not set.

The way I do it is use a tooth pick count the drops from the toothpick but use different toothpicks from the two bottles that way you avoid contamination of the two separate components.

HI Gary

Thanks for that. Why not use the drops from the bottle ? I think I know what you are going to say but I'd like to hear it.

I actually tested it out last Sunday with 1 -3 from the bottles and it is still a bit tacky this morning. Should it be hard by now ?

Thanks

Should be set up fully in about three days all depends on the temp and if you mixed it up correctly.
This is slow setting stuff
