After some help from you guys.

I know nothing about rod building or repairing, so I apologies if this seems like a really simple question, but ...

I recently bought a Sage XP 9ft #4.
It has arrived through the post and and the second guide down from the tip (first snake ring you come to) has been crushed. It's a second hand rod and bought over the net, so I don't know how or when it happened.
It's beyond bending back into shape as it's actually cracked through.

So it needs replacing.

My question(s):
how do I do this ?
What stuff do I need ?
How do I find the right type of guide ?
Should I even attempt it, or find an expert to take the job on ?

Any help much appreciated.

Number of ways you can send it back to sage in the uk, not recomended
Get someone like david or steve to replace it for you or take the guide of the blank and send it to hopkins and holloways and ask for a replacement.
If you have never done this before I would give it to a pro.
