Default Custom pan net inlay..

Just been doing a third rod build and decided to re build and veneer my pan net
Just finished cutting the mother of pearl for the inlay it will need a little more work but its getting there.

Final Coat of Varnish flattend back between coats with 1200 grit wet and dry....
I just need to put the net back on....

Nice work there mate real Quality.

I have been thinking of doing some mother of pearl inlay into a flamed mortice cane handle I think the effect would be stunning one of these days i will get around to it.

Nice to see your woodworking skills not many people know but I am a cabinet maker by trade and always like to see fine work.

Nice work, Are the metal pins in the handle for decorate or are they there to hold it to gether?

Roll cast...
They are mother of pearl 6mm dots they are called luither dots used on guitars..just another inlay..
They are for measurement..
from the top of the net hoop to first dot is 45cm next dot 50 cm last dot 55cm or magic length for a 4lbs grayling...
