hi i am in the stages of setting out to build my first fly rod.
i am going to build a 9ft 4#.
im planning on getting an allen fly fishing blank nano ti. i am trying to keep the cost and the weight down. can anyone reccomend rings that i should use and where to get them from. also a reel seat. and on top of that where the best place to purchase cork is. can anyone point out any other bits like eppoxy and threads and accesories that i might need?

Guides: H&H lightwire chrome snakes or singlefoot snakes plus pac bay minima4 stripper(s). In chrome respectively about 60p ea / £1.20ea

Thread - A grade nylon any rodbuilding brand will be OK

Thinned or lite epoxy, or varnish for a light lowbuild finish

Seat - all aluminium or cork/carbon spacer will be lightest, the former the cheapest

Cork - good cork is £1/ 0.5" ring. OK pre-formed grips £10-15. Nasty cork is a waste of all the hard work you will put into a build, buy the best you can afford
