Default Ferrule wraps

How close do you need to wrap to the end of the female ferrule.

Also should you wrap an couple of mil below the normall fit of the two on the male?

Thanks
AL

There is no set rule and everyone will do this differently, but about a good 1/2 inch onto the blank is a good standard.

Hi RC,

No firm rule, I try and get within 1-1.5mm just leaving enough room for the lacquer to contact the blank itself...
