Default Cork patch or filler?

Hi all,
I have a small void / divot in the cork handle of one of my fly rods. The void is right where a finger rests. Is there a product that I can use to fill this small hole before it becomes larger?
Many thanks & happy Holidays to all.

Voice of experience says - all fillers collapse especially in a point of applied heavy force
i) Get a couple of decent shives - flor grade or composite
ii) Remove rings
iii) Cut beck the cork handle to below the divot
iv) Superglue the shives in place
v) Run down with sandpaper
vi) Rewhip and revarnish rings

Sounds long winded but it is the only real solution

Best wishes

Steve P
