I have 2 T&T 12wts with different fighting butts-



Id like to take the one on the left off and replace with one similar to the right one.

How easy is it likely to be, do I heat it to loosen it?

Also where can I buy one like the one on the right?

Assuming they don't simply unscrew and you can't buy one from a T&T dealer .

Cut the offending one off the blank carefully - recork it - use ZapA Gap as your glue- then lathe turn it down with assorted sandpaper - and do use the best cork you can find .

Cheers for the advice Steve, it doesnt unscrew and shaping one myself is probably beyong my skill level.

I see David Norwich makes fighting butts ,hes local so i"ll take it to him and get him to match it.
