Hi guys, I am building my first ever rod with a helping hand from Stan (Alba rods).
I decided to build a 14 ft Harrison float rod since the grayling season is upon us and i am up to my ears in fly rods just now.

I am only planning on ever building one of these rods so i want to use the ebst gear on the market.

Can i run a few questions past you?

As said i am using a 14ft Harrison GT blank probably in grey or black.
I am planning on customising a gun metal Pac Bay reel seat so i can put a cork reel seat on the rod.
Full cork match handle and fuji Alconite BMYAG rod rings.

The reason i want Alconite BMYAG rod rings is due to the cold weather and i have trouble with small eyes freezing up.

What is the best grade of cork available for a match rod?

Does anyone know who has Alconite BMYAG rod eyes in stock?

Is there better eyes, reel seat, cork etc available?

Any other advice, tips etc are all appreciated.
