Default Auction V 2011 Lot 55: The Box/Bybrook Bath

Kindly donated by Peter Anderson (Marxach). One day one rod on this superb little South Cotswolds stream. Joining the Bristol Avon at Batheaston, the Bybrook flows off the Jurassic limestone of the Cotswold Hills. Rich and fertile, this stream has a great head of trout and grayling, to surprising size.

Your day will include a pint and a sandwich in The Northay Arms with your host and guide for the day, our own small streams afficianado Marxach.

This will give you an idea what you are in for. A small and wild stream best early in the seaon. By the end of June it is a jungle and the water gets a bit low!

Walks and fishes: Box Brook 1 April

Peter
