It is indeed a wonderful beat and I recall you catching a beauty of a Cothi fish, but this day's rod could be on one of a number of equally good beats, not necessarily Abercothi.

And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream,
And caught a little silver trout.

Hi All
Just to say that I am going to put a reserve of £85 on this lot. To be homest the day is worth at least twice that. Just ask Ephemerella or SteveL.
Best
Dave

I can well and truly second that Dave. The beat I was on, we had entirely to ourselves (though this can't be guaranteed), and would have cost £400 if you paid with your own hard-earned.
To me however, the true value came from, apart from fishing some of if not the best beats in Wales, the sparkling conversation and the most excellent company of two very fine gentlemen. I made a weekend of it by staying in a guesthouse in the area, and was lucky enough to enjoy marvellous food and conversation with these fellows and their friend. A truly wonderful experience.

Regards,
Steve

Can't believe nobody has had a nibble at this lot. Still way under-priced for what you will get for your money. Won't somebody bid £86 just key "non" off?

C'mon - you know it makes sense
