Default Auction V 2011 Lot 37: River Wylye, Wilton

Kindly donated by T Puttnam esq.

This is another really special lot. You'll be fishing one of England's oldest and most exclusive club waters, the river Wyle belonging to the famous Wilton club. Wild trout fishing in the heart of Wiltshire on this beautiful chalkstream.

Dress up smart! Your host will be Mr Tom Puttnam, of silk bow ties and sartorial elegance. If your atire is up to scratch a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine will be thrown in.

Please bid for this one. It's my dad!! Seriously some very big trout and grayling on a pristine Chalk stream as they should be. Carefully maintained to the highest conservation standards this is magic fishing. A rare chance for a day ticket on one of England's oldest club waters.

I have fished this stretch a few times and can confirm that its one of the best WILD trout streams out there and the Grayling fishing is out of this world.
