Default Auction V 2011 Lot 9: One Day One Rod River Monnow Garway Fly Fishers

Donated by Garway Fly Fishers. A super opportunity to fish a fantastic stretch of water not normally available. Four beats and nearly four miles of fishing to choose from.

Cracks me up... people paying vast amounts for some shabby bit of chalk smack next to a main road, and you can have this:

TM; That top picture must be one of the best, most evocative studies of a fly angler practising the art that I've ever seen. Captures the essence of the sport perfectly. Beautiful. Thanks for posting it.

Cheers! Castaline.

Don't get too excited, Smith.
The clue's in the word "practising"!!

Would have looked even better with a smattering of Himalayan Balsam in the background!
