Just thought I would post a wee thread on loch glow as it is fishing excellent on the fly atm. I was up on Sunday with 2 friends, started of on the bait but nothing was happening then suddenly there were fish rising everywhere so got the fly rod out with a sedge and suspended buzzer, 2nd cast and had my first fish. To cut a long story short I caught 6 returned 3 as they were under a pound, one of my friends caught 4 and the other got 12 including a cracking 3lb brownie (most returned as its a 6 fish limit) you are not meant to return fish but when they are stocking fish under a pound what do they expect. It is worth a days trip up if people in the area want a cheap day out as it is only £8 for the whole day with 6 fish limit, fish aint huge think my largest was about 2lb but its still great fun.
