The Hardy Fortuna X is the brainchild of some of the world´s greatest reel design boffins and legendary Tarpon Gold Cup winning Saltwater Superstar Andy Mill.

Like its historic ancestor the Fortuna (built for Tuna!) the all new Hardy Fortuna X reels pack a serious punch with a muscular 32lb of drag on tap in the largest sizes. Enough to stop the meanest, toughest, saltwater predators around. The Hardy Fortuna X comes in four sizes to suit saltwater lines from 8 to 14 weight. We also expect these reels to be a big hit with Salmon anglers with the larger sizes having all the capacity to swallow a spey line and backing capacity needed for big salmon on big rivers.

The reels are machined from the finest grade 6061 bar stock anodised aluminum and convert easily from right to left hand wind. The saltwater safe drag is as smooth as silk all the way up to the gorilla settings and will be your best friend when things get rough!
