Hi folks

I spent 5 hours up at this fishery today , weather was very unsettled with wind changing every 2 minutes and constant rain

Started fishing from the bank with a ghost tip line and the usual suspect lures and had no luck , noticed a few decent fish moving over the dam so time for a change :thumbup:,
Switched to floating line and a wee cdc beetle and first cast was into a very nice wee blue about the 2lb mark and it gave a great account of itself before...

First Venture out in about 5 weeks due to work

Headed down to Borland with my mate and fellow member Fishfinger for a wee day oot ,

Arrived at the fishery about 10 am and it was very very cold and howling winds and very low temprature - about 5 degrees so not looking favourable

Visited this wee fishery with fellow forum members and mates Big C (Colin) and Fishfinger (Stevie)

On arrival at the fishery we were met with a flat calm and very bright sunshine so condtions not looking the best ,

A nice warm welcome from the Bloke who took the money so happy days ,

After a wee look at the water which was very very coloured due to the recent rain i decided to go with a 15ft Ghost tip again and a white lure with a katie on 1 dropper...

On arrival at the fishery about 8.30 pm , couple of cars in the carpark so not too busy which is a wee bonus ,

Very cold morning and very windy so condtitons where going to be challenging to say the least , after a nice cuppa it was time to get started ,

I Tackled up staright away and my choice was a 15ft ghost tip teamed up with a hothead damsel and a couple of wee black...
